Starting Out...

So I just finished creating my first portfolio website for my technical theatre career. My professors recommend that we make a website so our possible future employers can view our work pretty much at any time. That does make sense. I'm currently working on my actual "hard copy" portfolio to bring to SETC in March. I'm going to find it difficult because I feel like I think it'll be too plain (I helped my mom a lot when I was little in making scrap books). But I'm going with what I'm told and will continue to make my portfolio look professional.

Back to the website, the website allows you to have a link to a blog. I thought, why not? I can post my thoughts on my day of working in the theatre and about my trails and tribulations of my professional experience, or the pursuit thereof. It'll give me something constructive, yet fun, to do.

On a side note: So hopefully I can keep this up and help strengthen, not only my chances of a possible job, but on a simpler level, my writing. If you're really big on grammar, I wouldn't recommend reading my posts, but I am always will to take editing advice.

Well, let's get started!
